Job Summary

The Lead Caregiver role is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a Lead Caregiver, you'll be responsible for supporting critical shifts, including fill-ins, new client introductions, and training sessions with new caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering exceptional care to clients, focusing on activities of daily living such as household chores, cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming, and providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
  • Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your vehicle.
  • Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.
  • Monitoring and reporting on client conditions.
Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a state and national background check.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
  • Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required.
  • One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels.
  • Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21.00 per hour, paid travel time, and a comprehensive benefits package.
