Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Professional to join our team at Holy Name Medical Center. As a member of our Practice Management team, you will work in different physicians' offices providing both Front and Back Office Clerical and Clinical services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Medical Office Professional in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing all medical procedures necessary on all patients as required, including venipunctures, vital signs, and EKGs.
  • Receiving specimens from patients and manually documenting information required for patients' specimens and tests completed in various ancillary department medical records.
  • Visually reviewing test results for completion and abnormalities.
  • Scheduling and registering patients in the doctor's office, answering telephones, meeting and greeting patients, and assisting physicians in all other matters pertaining to the Physician's office.
  • Maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years hospital or physician's office experience.
  • Knowledge of venipunctures and EKGs, as well as thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and possess good communication skills and telephone techniques.

In addition, you must obtain Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA certification within 90 days of hire.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
