Job Title: Full Time Counselor

We are seeking a qualified Full Time Counselor to join our team at Residence XII. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Job Summary:

The Full Time Counselor will work closely with patients and counseling staff to formulate aftercare plans, identify community resources, and assist patients in linking into those resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substance use disorders, community resources, and counseling principles and techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Fill in for absent counselors and assume all duties for that position.
  • Teach classes as assigned.
  • Perform case management services.
  • Work with patients and counseling staff to formulate aftercare plans.
  • Identify and assist patients in linking into community resources.
  • Assist in assessments as necessary.
  • Perform miscellaneous case management tasks as assigned.
  • Assist Resident Manager with patient transportation as assigned.
  • Perform duties for the Family and Continuing Care programs as assigned.
  • Participate in Administrator/Clinician on call rotation.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and meet the requirements and qualifications as defined in the WAC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substance use disorders, community resources, and counseling principles and techniques.
