Warehouse Operator Role at Hankook Tire

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Hankook Tire. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of outbound operations, maintaining high levels of quality, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve excellent productivity.

About the Job

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive salary range of $17.00-$20.65 per hour, including a night-shift premium. The starting rate is dependent on prior experience in a warehouse environment, and there are opportunities for performance-based step increases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Perform all work safely and according to company standards.
  • Team Player: Work well with others within the team and throughout the organization.
  • Attendance is Key: Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
  • Loading and Unloading: Prepare labels and attach them to each tire before loading according to SOPs, load tires manually on time based on the loading worksheet, check quantity and quality, bundle tires for particular SKUs, unload tires manually from containers, and effectively communicate results to the line leader.
  • Total Productive Maintenance: Execute TPM tasks, including fault prevention and troubleshooting activities related to the loading process, systems, and machines.
  • Troubleshooting: Take prompt action and report any issues to the supervisor if trouble occurs on site.
  • Adherence to Regulations: Keep work processes in accordance with labor safety laws, regulations, and SOPs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Equivalent combination of education and experience (high school diploma or GED preferred).
  • Experience: 1 year of warehouse experience (knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods preferred).
  • Languages: Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, climbing up and down ladders/stairs, lifting up to 55 pounds unassisted, and specific vision abilities required.
