Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $1255 per week, with opportunities to earn up to $46 per mile for solo miles and $12 per stop for solo stops. Additionally, drivers can expect to receive a sign-on bonus of $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days, as well as a shutdown bonus of $2000 in two installments. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, starting at 30 days. Other benefits include paid personal time off, uniforms, boot allowance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Job Description

This is a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL driver position based in Clarksville, TN. Drivers will be responsible for hauling auto parts across the southeastern United States, covering territories in OH, IN, KY, and MS. The route will involve local home daily driving, with an average of 2500 miles per week and 5-15 stops per week. Drivers must have strong backing skills and be able to operate a day cab tractor with a dry van trailer.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 21 years of age, a valid Class A CDL, and at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past three years. They must also pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, as well as a DOT physical and a Ryder road test. Candidates should be able to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
