We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to fill the role of Director of Clinical Operations for our Hospice team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our hospice services, ensuring that we provide the highest level of care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to clinical staff, including coordinators and clinical supervisors, to ensure that they have the necessary resources and training to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the executive director/administrator to develop and implement strategic plans for clinical operations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure that all clinical staff are properly trained and equipped to provide care that meets the needs of our patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including healthcare providers and social services agencies, to promote our hospice services and ensure that we are meeting the needs of our patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the field of hospice care and share knowledge with the team to ensure that we are providing the best possible care.
- Current RN licensure in the state where the position is located.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Three years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a hospice or related healthcare setting.
- Experience in managing clinical teams and developing policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to market and promote our hospice services to the community.
