About the Job Description
">The Product Development Specialist will be responsible for:
">- ">
- Developing and supporting heavy-duty truck chassis systems.">
- Providing design direction and technical specifications to on- and offshore engineering resources.">
- Contributing to product improvements, new features, or options development.">
- Supporting product planning initiatives.">
- Liaising between customers, suppliers, production, process engineering-, and development teams.">
- Managing 3rd party providers such as suppliers and development teams/consultants.">
- Leading and/or supporting project status reviews, design reviews, design analysis activities.">
- Creating, maintaining, and filing design intent & history documentation.">
- Engaging & aligning with engineering peers across vehicle systems and other platforms.">
- Identifying opportunities and supporting continuous improvement to promote engineering quality.">
- Providing day-to-day support of cross-functional teams.">
- Performing and/or supporting online and offline validation and testing of new designs.">
About the Required Skills and Qualifications
">- ">
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.">
- 1-3 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the heavy-duty truck industry.">
- A thorough working knowledge of 3D-CAD systems, preferably Unigraphics.">
- PDM systems experience, preferably Siemens Teamcenter.">
- Excellent analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.">
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).">
