Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to handle complex litigation matters, primarily focusing on business litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of business litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies and tactics to achieve effective and efficient results.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct thorough and efficient legal research to support case strategies and positions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external counsel to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the organization on potential legal risks and compliance matters.
  • Represent the organization in court and before government agencies, as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may affect the organization's legal position.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to business litigation.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
