The Clinical Education Coordinator plays a vital role in designing, organizing, and executing development and orientation programs for our staff. This position is essential in maintaining high standards of clinical and administrative performance. The Coordinator will create, implement, and oversee clinical competency frameworks while monitoring clinical skills and developing tailored performance enhancement plans. Participation in Quality Improvement and Assurance initiatives is also a key responsibility. The role operates under the guidance of the Health Center Director, the Director of Patient Services, or the Director of Nursing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure clinical and administrative excellence is upheld.
  • Design and execute orientation programs for newly hired personnel.
  • Facilitate Nurse Aide training classes in collaboration with the NATP Primary Coordinator.
  • Assess the competency of new staff following their orientation.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for groups.
  • Review clinical documentation and conduct both announced and unannounced evaluations to ensure compliance with practice standards and regulations.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities, including audits and committee participation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or an Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing with significant experience in staff development.
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse, with a minimum of six months in a supervisory or educational role.
  • Current Train the Trainer Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Collaboration with HR to ensure compliance with ADA standards regarding physical demands and work environment.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires onsite presence.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000.
