Role Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Payroll Specialist with a strong background in managing payroll in accordance with prevailing wage standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in payroll administration, particularly within the construction sector, and will be well-versed in prevailing wage legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all personnel, adhering to prevailing wage regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws regarding prevailing wages.
  • Compile and submit certified payroll documentation to the Department of Labor and other relevant entities.
  • Update and manage payroll records, including employee data, wage rates, and job classifications.
  • Guarantee the precision and efficiency of all payroll transactions.
  • Prepare and file necessary reports with various governmental bodies.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to facilitate smooth payroll operations.
  • Stay informed about changes in prevailing wage laws and adjust payroll processes accordingly.
  • Provide excellent support to employees regarding payroll questions and issues.
