Job Responsibilities:
This role is essential in assisting with the development and organization of departmental initiatives, schedules, and documentation systems. The position also involves participation in special projects aimed at enhancing service delivery.

The following are key responsibilities of the role:

  • Respond to inquiries related to departmental operations and provide resolutions or direct to appropriate resources.
  • Maintain and enhance ChildNet's tracking and reporting systems for complaints, ensuring follow-up on resolutions.
  • Offer administrative assistance to departmental staff, including routing incoming calls.
  • Compile necessary information and documentation in preparation for case assignments and take minutes during unit and staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information that supports the mission of serving children and families effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organization.
Qualifications:

Experience:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Social Services or a related office environment.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
Key Skills:
  • Ability to make informed decisions while considering the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of the service population.
  • Capability to manage tasks and guide others towards successful completion of objectives.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
