We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction Management group in Philadelphia. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development of utility master plans and verify the accuracy of installation for new and existing projects.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the performance of construction projects to the infrastructure team.
- Identify risks and assist in creating risk mitigation plans.
- Assist in creating and presenting project and college data clearly to multiple stakeholder groups.
- Provide technical and engineering support to the Program Management Office (PMO) including Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- Coordinate with surveying, testing, and inspection staff.
- Document progress of construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration, addition, or repair projects, logging photographs, daily project reports, and notes as required.
- Assist in preparing written materials, including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating and recording minutes of meetings with project stakeholders.
- Assist in reviewing submittal procedures, RFI's, and monthly invoices.
- 3-5 years of recent professional work experience in the management of the construction of infrastructure projects.
- Experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with relevant public codes.
- BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related degree.
