This role will manage projects that focus on process improvement, change management, and systems implementation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, quality, or process improvement, with experience working with a Project Management Office (PMO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage PMO assigned projects, including planning, scope, accountability, deliverables, timelines, communication, and training.
- Assist in planning and execution of project improvement initiatives.
- Lead Business Analysts activities as needed.
- Manage RFP activities, including financial assessment, project charter, project plan, and complete request for proposal.
- Assist in the education of PMO methodologies and processes to stakeholders.
- Plan, direct, and optimize activities, interdependencies, and resources across projects.
- Manage all project documentation based on project needs.
- Manage risks and issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure policy compliance.
Requirements:
- Three years of project management, quality, or process improvement experience.
- Experience working with a PMO.
- Business analysis experience.
- One year of experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), or Black Belt (CSSGB) certifications.
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines (PMBOK) and productivity tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge guidelines (BABOK) and quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Intermediate knowledge of change management principles, including organizational dynamics, change theory, and improvement methods/tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of risk management principles.
- Fundamental experience and knowledge of healthcare/research operations and systems.
- Advanced proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and make recommendations/decisions based on data.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
