Position: Fire Safety Systems Inspector II - UP TO $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Department: Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems

As a Fire Safety Systems Inspector II, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for qualified candidates.

Role Overview:

The Fire Safety Systems Inspector II is responsible for testing fire, security, and sprinkler systems in the designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests on electronic alarm systems, including fire, security, access, and sprinkler systems.
  • Generate both electronic and paper documentation for system certification efficiently, including work orders and deficiency reports.
  • Maintain and operate a company vehicle.
  • Collaborate with ARK team members to achieve certification goals for alarm systems.
  • Present a professional demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Engage with customers regarding the operation and importance of their fire alarm systems.
  • Supervise assistant testers to ensure proper certification of sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Perform minor repairs on the equipment as needed.
  • Fulfill additional duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Familiarity with various alarm systems and testing equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain necessary security technician licenses as required.
  • NICET II certification in water-based fire protection systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of climbing and crawling to complete tasks.
  • Willingness to work at heights.
  • Able to operate electrical tools.
  • Ability to differentiate color coding of cables.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
