Job Title: Senior Proposal Coordinator

Garver's Transportation Strategic Growth Team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our Southwest Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating proposals for transportation opportunities, writing/editing technical sections, and providing creative layouts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end pursuit process from initial planning through delivery for all aspects related to the pursuit process, including strategy, proposal storyboarding, outline, schedules, workflow, and graphic resource requirements.
  • Develop proposal messaging (written and visual), write original content, collaborate with graphic designers, and other proposal coordinators when necessary.
  • Work with technical staff to develop strategic win plans.
  • Conduct market research to assist technical staff in identifying and prioritizing clients and key pursuits.
  • Work with technical staff to develop content for statement of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.
  • Coordinate and organize large amounts of technical information, including photography, external subconsultant data, and marketing materials.
  • Develop, conceptualize, and collaboratively work with the graphic designers to create visually appealing marketing material.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and graphic designers to develop and complete award submissions for technical associations and trade publications.
  • Work as a collaborative member of the Transportation Marketing Team to track/maintain the central information databases (Deltek and OpenAsset) for use on future projects.
  • Assist the team with interview preparations to develop dynamic client presentations and corresponding materials to win the job.
  • Provide quality/compliance peer reviews on proposal materials.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written/editing skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands.
  • Previous experience in proposal preparation or large-document management.
  • Previous experience working with Texas municipalities and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
  • Previous experience in management of a customer relationship management (CRM) database, Deltek or sequel.
