Job Title: Care Management Specialist

Community Assessment & Treatment Services is seeking a highly skilled Care Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of residents, ensuring a safe and secure environment for treatment and rehabilitation.
  • Implement effective operations, including supervision of security officers, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other staff members, criminal justice agencies, and local organizations to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and community stakeholders to promote a positive and supportive environment.
  • Respond to emergencies and potentially dangerous situations, demonstrating calm and effective decision-making skills.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, memos, and policies, utilizing Microsoft Word and agency electronic medical record systems.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience working in a human service setting, with a focus on substance use disorder treatment and recovery.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and obtain a Medicaid billing number.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License preferred.
  • CDCA certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training or experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery, consumer engagement, healthcare, social services, and criminal justice systems.
  • Experience with adult and/or juvenile offender/inmate/resident supervision and discipline.
