Job Title: Deputy Director

The Williams College community is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director to join our team. As a key member of the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Deputy Director will play a vital role in advancing the college's commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to the Davis Center and Pathways for Inclusive Excellence units.
  • Supervise and mentor a diverse group of professional staff, including student affairs professionals and program coordinators.
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to advance the college's commitment to inclusive excellence.
  • Manage budgets and oversee operations for various programs and initiatives.
  • Represent the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on campus and in the community.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as higher education administration, student affairs, or diversity and inclusion.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in student affairs, diversity and inclusion, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
