Job Overview

Position Summary: Mastech Digital is a leading provider in the manufacturing sector, specializing in advanced cooling systems tailored for high-tech industries including laser technology, MRI, data centers, and semiconductor production. Our extensive portfolio of thermal management solutions sets us apart in the market.

Engineering Support Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly calibrations on furnace controllers and perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing process data from vacuum brazing, heat treatment, and aging furnaces.
  • Collaborate with engineers to draft procedures and reports.
  • Construct and assemble fixtures for core stacking, vacuum brazing, pressure testing, and more.
  • Fabricate specialized tooling as necessary.
  • Provide assistance to the manufacturing floor.


Essential Qualifications

  • Skilled in the use of standard hand tools and measurement instruments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering schematics.
  • Competent in assembling process fixtures.
  • Proficient in using personal computers, including MS Word and Excel for data logging and documentation.


Laboratory Equipment Maintenance

  • Calibrate temperature controllers, thermocouples, and related instruments.
  • Advise on the acquisition or replacement of laboratory instrumentation.


Educational Background

  • High school diploma or an Associate's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
