Manufacturing Engineer II

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team in Woburn, MA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing programs for production equipment, creating and maintaining routings, Bills of Material, drawings, and detailed assembly and inspection instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase quality
- Interpret customer and technical specifications, drawings, and engineering instructions
- Communicate requirements to the factory and act as liaison between departments
- Evaluate scope of project and determine production labor and material requirements
- Develop and document operating procedures and work instructions
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing industry
- Experience working in contract manufacturing
- Technically proficient interpreting drawings, part lists, and customer specifications
