Manufacturing Automation Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Manufacturing Automation Specialist to join our team at Entegee.
Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate ovens and mixers, verify raw materials and equipment, and perform machine setups and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders, batch cards, and blueprints to ensure accurate setup and operation of equipment.
- Verify raw materials, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with batch specifications.
- Perform machine setups and operations, inspecting finished materials for quality and making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
- Document and report daily activities accurately and on time, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Sift, package, and label powders to ensure seamless workflow completion.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, communicating effectively with team members and leadership to resolve problems quickly.
- Support Lean initiatives, participate in training and shadowing, and contribute to improvement board discussions.
- Sustain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and 5S principles.
Requirements:
- GED or high school diploma required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience or demonstrated competency.
- Ability to perform complex math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with hazardous chemicals, wearing appropriate PPE as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with weighing, mixing, and working with chemicals in a manufacturing environment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
