Job Description

The Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine is seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow.

In this full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week, floating between our Marietta office on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30am-12:30pm, and our Buckhead or Perimeter area offices the remainder of the weekdays from approximately 7:30am-4:00pm, with rotating weekend and holiday shifts at our Sandy Springs location.

Responsibilities:

  • Check and record vital signs accurately
  • Administer injections as needed
  • Perform blood draw procedures safely and efficiently
  • Label and process lab samples correctly
  • Process labs and submit requisitions promptly
  • Enter lab results into the EMR chart
  • Communicate lab results to patients and answer their questions
  • Assist nursing staff with callbacks and clinical procedures
  • Participate in ultrasound scans and assist with clinical procedures
  • Enter patient insurance information and submit prescription orders to the pharmacy
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient flow
  • Prepare exam rooms, bathrooms, and restock supplies as needed
  • Clean and sterilize equipment, update maintenance logs, and perform other related tasks
  • Log and scan consent forms, documents, and medical records
  • Print medical records when necessary
  • Update diagnosis codes and work on other related projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; vocational training preferred
  • Medical Assistant certification recommended
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Clinical Medical Assistant role
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, management, and patients
  • Able to work effectively in teams and individually, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and function with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to provide safe patient care, follow policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, dedication to quality, and work ethic
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity to operate equipment
  • Easily move around a 25,000 square foot facility, lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Push, pull, bend, twist, and grip as needed

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
