Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Authorization Assistant to join our team at Infojini. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing medical authorization requests, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring seamless communication with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Authorization: Receive and process medical authorization requests via fax, phone, or electronically, entering new service request information into our authorization system.
  • Information Collection: Gather additional information from clients and healthcare providers to complete referral information, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Authorization and Eligibility: Authorize requested services according to our authorization guidelines, performing data entry and verifying eligibility.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Contact healthcare networks and our customer service team regarding health network enrollments, and assist medical case managers in gathering medical records and coding information.
  • Documentation and Data Entry: Document all contacts and case information in our system using standard charting formats, and perform data entry into relevant databases for monitoring and tracking.
Administrative Support

In addition to your medical authorization responsibilities, you will also provide administrative support to our team, participating in a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance and member-focused customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in data entry and have a strong attention to detail.
