Job Title: Neurology Specialist Series

We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the Neurology Specialist Series at the University of California, Irvine. The Department of Neurology anticipates openings for Junior, Assistant, Associate, and Full Specialists in various fields, including Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias, Epilepsy, Neuroepidemiology, and more.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a strong laboratory research background and specialized training in neurology. The appointee will be expected to contribute to the department's research and educational mission, with opportunities to publish as an author or co-author on manuscripts.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop new ideas in neurology
  • Teach and mentor students and junior faculty
  • Contribute to the department's research and educational mission
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers
Requirements:
  • PhD or MD degree in neurology or a related field
  • Strong laboratory research background and specialized training in neurology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
