Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prior Authorization Coordinator to join our team at Regal Medical Group. As a Prior Authorization Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating the referral process and ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prior authorization requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits for DME and home health authorizations
  • Communicate with providers and patients to resolve authorization issues
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the prior authorization process
  • Collaborate with the prior authorization team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track prior authorization activity
Requirements
  • High school graduate required; associate's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Knowledge of prior authorization processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
