Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative 2 to join our team at UC Davis Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate medical office services, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Provide front desk support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling patient inquiries.
  • Assist with patient discharge and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or front desk role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with scheduling software and electronic medical records systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
