Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team in Duluth, GA. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations, ensuring the successful execution of ground-based satellite communication systems. Your expertise in program management, leadership, and problem-solving will be instrumental in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form and sustain effective cross-functional teams to achieve program goals
  • Develop and implement program plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage program execution, including leadership, planning, scheduling, financial reporting, and deliverables management
  • Utilize formal program management techniques, such as EVMS, to achieve program goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring program success
Requirements
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Advanced experience with MS Project
  • Demonstrated strong financial experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems
  • Skilled in structured risk management processes
  • Extensive problem-solving skills, demonstrated leadership in the face of sudden setbacks
  • Experience with hardware system development using stage gate processes
  • Experience managing projects with civil engineering requirements
  • Experience managing project requirements for DoD end users
  • Experience effectively managing subcontractors delivering key system elements
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a technical field
  • Interest in communications, satellite ground station experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government SATCOM and space-based intelligence mission requirements
  • Experience in design and construction to support development of satellite earth stations/antenna or cellular/wireless facilities
  • Government or military installation design or construction experience, including knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Guide Specifications (UFGS)
  • Experience managing design and construction projects internationally
  • Ability to obtain a National Security Clearance
