Supplier Brand Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Development Specialist to join our team at Breakthru Beverage Group. This role is responsible for maximizing sales and marketing of supplier brands to a targeted account base through effective planning, selling, merchandising, and communication.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize sales and marketing of assigned supplier brands within assigned accounts
- Develop and implement beverage and marketing strategies and plans for growth of assigned supplier
- Research trends, category, and portfolio to ensure that the group or division and company meet supplier goals as established
- Present new products and beverage offerings, and if necessary, conduct business reviews
- Maintain relationships with influencers and present new products and cocktail, wine, and beer listings or menus
- Facilitate accounts visits, dinners for dignitaries, and supplier representatives by scheduling and preparing accounts to meet the expectations of suppliers and management
- Assist sales team in driving supplier brands in their accounts
- Develop and deliver training modules to the sales team, customer, and supplier regarding sales trends
- Determine specific needs of individual accounts by analyzing account and surveying for opportunities
- Establish merchandising objectives relative to brand priority for each account by understanding company priorities and defining POS needs to the supplier
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers by balancing the company's priorities and customers' needs
- Obtain appropriate distribution of supplier brands throughout account base by presenting and selling based on the brands' features and benefits
- Maintain and build strong relationships with the key stakeholders/gatekeepers of the supplier accounts
- Participate in supplier work-with sales calls
- Attend educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks to build and maintain industry knowledge
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in sales or industry-related experience, required
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs, including presentation software
- Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion, as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Analytic and reporting skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
