Job Title: Field and Housing Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field and Housing Inspector to join our team at Allworld Project Management LLC. As a Field and Housing Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of residential properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing codes and regulations.
  • Utilize various Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, and company software to document findings and maintain accurate records of all inspections.
  • Verify that properties meet required safety standards, including electrical systems, plumbing, structural integrity, and overall habitability.
  • Provide expert advice to property owners and managers on necessary repairs or upgrades to bring properties into compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with local government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any violations or issues found during inspections.
  • Oversee and track the progress of repair or renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: GED or High School degree required; further education in construction management, building technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing inspection, construction, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Housing Inspector Certification, Building Inspector Certification, or similar credentials are desirable.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Primarily field-based inspections with some office work for report preparation and coordination.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to inspect various property conditions, which may involve climbing ladders, crouching, or standing for long periods of time.

Pay and Benefits:
