About the Program

Duke Energy's Construction Management Co-op Rotational Program is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the construction management field. This 16-week program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the construction management process, from planning and execution to completion.

Learning Outcomes
  • Design and Analysis: Students will participate in the design and analysis of structures, systems, and facilities within Duke Energy's Transmission department.
  • Workforce Planning & Scheduling: Students will develop skills in managing project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Students will work with engineers, construction teams, and project managers to support project goals and milestones.
Basic/Required Qualifications
  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Construction Management.
  • Academic Performance: Must have a cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Availability: Must be available to work full-time for the 16-week co-op duration.
