About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Outsource Logistics, LLC. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Account Management: Manage current customer accounts, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues and concerns.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, maintain relationships with carriers and customers, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Logistics Coordination: Provide shipment quotes, set up shipments, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess high-quality written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Demonstrate accurate and quality work, with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
  • Dependability and Teamwork: Show dependability, a willingness to work in teams, and be open to others' views.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a minimum high school diploma, with some college coursework preferred but not required. Previous customer service or call center experience is required, with logistics experience preferred but not necessary.
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Language and Computer Skills
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, with the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with Database software, Internet software, Order processing systems, and Microsoft software, with experience with WMS systems (Camelot and Navis) preferred.
