Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and confirm the receipt of new credit applications.
  • Evaluate credit applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Facilitate the processing of credit applications and new customer accounts in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
  • Ensure accuracy between credit applications and customer setups within the ERP system.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for all customers.
  • Investigate and address customer inquiries following the distribution of statements.
  • Manage the collection and renewal processes for sales tax exemption certificates.
  • Propose enhancements to customer setup policies and procedures.
  • Handle the receipt and processing of NSF checks.
  • Digitally index all customer records.
  • Support the Collections Specialist in managing national accounts.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Business school training, an Associate's degree, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and internet navigation.
  • Experience with Epicor P21 or comparable ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with email communication, preferably Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
