Retail Strategy Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Strategy Manager to join our team at American Cybersystems. As a Retail Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for driving cross-category product strategies, site commercial and marketing relationships, and reporting to the Senior Manager of Merchandise Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cross-category product strategies to support major new initiatives, new build locations, celebrations, and anniversaries, synergy, and other domestic offerings.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of cross-category product needs, guest and demography data, and market trends to influence strategies.
  • In partnership with Planning and Location Strategy, coordinate quarterly kick-off sessions and hindsight sessions with the Product Development teams.
  • Lead relationships with Site-specific Commercial and Marketing teams to understand and capitalize on Site initiatives and drive commercialization of merchandise-specific initiatives.
  • Lead relationships with Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants to improve the Park's value.
  • Work with the Franchise team to develop strategies to support key franchise and alliance initiatives.
  • Lead ongoing analysis of results, in-season performance, and trends to improve business results and support future decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and bring partners along for the journey to ensure seamless communication and function in the product development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of dynamic experience in Merchandise or an analytical role.
  • Experience in Merchandising/Planning for vertical specialty retail environment.
  • Experience working with multiple partners in commercial, marketing, planning, buying, and visual merchandising.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage revenue creation while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to drive execution against a financial plan.
  • Demonstrated social skills and ability to influence a diverse audience, including experience working with external partners and business owners.
  • The ability to build and cultivate partnerships across functions and departments within the company.
  • Well-developed Communication and Analytical skills.
  • Proven track record to think creatively and disruptively to bring and infuse new insights to the business.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or related.

Pay Rate Range: $42.00-$52.00/hr Depending on Experience
