Job Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and diligent individual to fulfill the role of Inventory Management Coordinator at American Audio. This position encompasses a variety of essential warehouse responsibilities, including shipping and receiving, monitoring stock levels, ensuring product quality, managing orders for consumables, processing returns, and overseeing other inventory-related logistics. Additionally, the role includes providing customer support and executing general administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills to assist team members with inventory systems and best practices. Proficient problem-solving abilities are essential for creating, validating, and advising on updates to procedures, policies, and job responsibilities to enhance operational efficiency.

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and label products accurately
  • Organize and stage products efficiently for various projects
  • Monitor stock levels and implement effective inventory control strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure precise inventory management
  • Prepare and process return authorizations for shipments
  • Oversee the RMA process to ensure completion and proper documentation
  • Set goals and directives related to inventory accuracy, error awareness, location management, loss prevention, and quality assurance
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and prepare reports
  • Communicate with vendors as necessary
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned
  • Deliver equipment to job sites as required
  • Engage in client communication as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management or control
  • Proficient computer skills are essential, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Solid understanding of receiving and shipping operations
  • Detail-oriented with well-developed management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to lift over 50 lbs independently
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
