Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse

CVS Health is a leading healthcare provider, and we're seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of improving health outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with a starting schedule of 30 hours per week. You may be required to float to other nearby locations and work alternating weekends. As a LPN, you'll be an integral part of our clinical team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
  • Administer vaccine injections
  • Assess patients during intake
  • Take vital signs
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
  • Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
  • Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant
  • Full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
  • Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
