Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Peer Specialist Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide flexible, community-based services designed to promote empowerment, recovery, and community integration for individuals with extensive mental health conditions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate opportunities for individuals receiving service to direct their own recovery and advocacy process.
  • Teach and support individuals in acquiring and utilizing skills, promoting knowledge of available service options, choices, and the utilization of natural resources in the community.
  • Help facilitate the development of a sense of wellness and self-worth.

Requirements
  • Associates Degree in a Human Services related field is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills to perform job duties including desktop computing, e-mail, timesheet management, electronic health records, internet research, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and billable unit requirements, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Estimated Salary:

$16 per hour (starting rate), $17 per hour (after completing 90-day training period)
