As a multi-specialty healthcare provider, Stride Healthcare specializes in comprehensive lower extremity treatment across Texas. Our skilled medical professionals are experts in addressing foot and ankle issues, lower extremity care, wound management, vascular, and vein treatments. We provide both routine and complex care for conditions such as diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, neuropathy, diabetic foot ulcers, venous insufficiency, and various wounds.

Our headquarters is located in Texas, with multiple practices throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized and invasive radiology procedures, ensuring adherence to all radiation safety protocols. This includes preparing patients, explaining procedures, administering contrast as needed, positioning patients accurately, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring the technical quality of images.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and operate X-ray equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies and X-ray equipment are prepared and available for each procedure.
  • Facilitate timely turnover of the Vascular Lab while maintaining cost-effectiveness and resource conservation during supply usage.
  • Restock Vascular Lab supplies as workload permits and assist in preparing supplies for upcoming cases.
  • Set up and maintain X-ray equipment for both major and minor interventional procedures, applying specialized knowledge in radiology.
  • Communicate effectively with medical personnel to coordinate patient care across various disciplines.
  • Adapt promptly to changes in workload, adjusting assignments as needed to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Plan work steps meticulously to ensure successful outcomes, considering time, supplies, and support from other departments.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations while on duty, reporting any incidents and addressing minor safety concerns. Maintain open communication with colleagues and management regarding workplace hazards.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promoting continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Willingness to travel to various Vascular Labs within the region.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Background:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in specialized procedures, such as in a cath lab.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
  • AART certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) is preferred.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
