About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Medical 9 North team at Corewell Health. As a Medical Floor Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles. This role requires a strong commitment to quality patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating patient and family input and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
