About the Opportunity

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled RN to join our Endoscopy team at Royal Oak Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary

The RN will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during hours when the unit is closed.
  • Rotate with 10 and 8-hour shifts, with variable weekend and holiday schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
  • 2 years of experience as an RN and Endoscopy RN experience preferred.
