Corewell Health is seeking a skilled RN to join our 9 North Medical Floor team at Dearborn Hospital. As a Medical Care Unit Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Job Summary

The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care and develop teaching strategies for patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients with medical conditions
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies for patients and families
  • Document patient education and learning in the health record
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
  • Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years
