Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care and Med-Surg team at Dearborn Hospital. As a RN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans, incorporating patient and family input and goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
