Nuuly is on the lookout for a Lead Inventory Operations Strategist.

The Lead Inventory Operations Strategist will take charge of crafting and executing strategies to oversee and sustain optimal inventory levels across various fulfillment centers.

This position is vital to our operations and requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic growth setting.

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate outstanding communication skills to work collaboratively with teams and diverse stakeholders. This individual should show initiative and possess the capability to influence others effectively. A strong focus on KPIs and metrics, along with a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, is essential. Travel may be necessary as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve inventory flow issues within the fulfillment centers.

Develop scalable solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and mitigate risks.

Formulate strategies to manage inventory levels efficiently and reduce backlogs.

Oversee operational plans, including returns, inbound logistics, inspections, and outbound processes to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries that meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Analyze inventory data and predict demand to optimize inventory levels across fulfillment centers.

Lead an established inventory control team and cultivate a new team in another fulfillment center.

Ensure that inventory control procedures are executed accurately and efficiently, including cycle counting, inventory transfers, and damage processing.

Generate reports to provide visibility and transparency regarding inventory flow and shrinkage.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with the Executive Director of Merchandise Planning and Inventory on inventory processing initiatives.

Engage with the Senior Director of Logistics to explore opportunities across the logistics network.

Partner with the Nuuly technology team to enhance warehouse management systems.

Participate in special inventory projects as they arise.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.

A demonstrated passion for understanding Nuuly's customers and products.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to create insightful presentations for team use.

Capable of aggregating, analyzing, and summarizing complex data for diverse audiences.
