POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of an Assistant Branch Supervisor is to ACHIEVE OUTCOMES in all outreach and collection initiatives. This role primarily involves encouraging customers to engage with the office either through visits or phone calls. The Assistant Branch Supervisor is equipped to undertake all managerial responsibilities and oversee staff in the absence of the Branch Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Branch Supervisor role is designed to PREPARE FOR ADVANCEMENT. The organization considers all Assistant Branch Supervisors as potential candidates for Branch Manager positions. Those who demonstrate exceptional performance in their current role and possess a comprehensive understanding of Customer Service Representative and Manager duties will be prioritized for promotion.

Typically, the Assistant Branch Supervisor's responsibilities include executing a significant portion of the overdue call tasks as directed by the Branch Manager. This position requires a proactive approach, as much of the work is conducted with minimal supervision. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license in good standing and have access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  1. Conducts telephone outreach to delinquent clients and documents activities for the Branch Manager's review.
  2. Modifies overdue payment plans for clients experiencing temporary financial difficulties.
  3. Prepares written assessments and appraisals of collateral at client residences, providing detailed observations regarding the condition of the assets. Submits recommendations to the Branch Manager regarding loan amounts and terms.
  4. Assists with answering phone inquiries, processing customer payments, entering new and refinanced loans into the system, handling loan applications, and preparing correspondence related to refinancing and delinquency.
  5. Collaborates with the Branch Manager to organize, plan, and assign field visit tasks to assistants. Reviews and documents all field activities completed by the Assistant Manager.
  6. Facilitates training and development sessions as instructed by the Branch Manager and District Supervisor.
  7. Generates weekly and monthly performance reports.
  8. Keeps a daily record of delinquency metrics generated by the system.
  9. Provides credit history information to inquiring creditors.
  10. Assists in maintaining performance standards across all areas of delinquency, loan volume, and growth objectives, adhering to established benchmarks.
  11. It is the responsibility of branch personnel to consistently meet company production goals, which may necessitate extended hours until 8:00 PM and Saturday work as directed by the District Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience in collections or the financial sector is advantageous. The Assistant Branch Supervisor must possess proficient computer skills and be open to travel and relocation as necessary. The candidate must be prepared to assume the next available managerial position in any location where an opportunity arises.

EDUCATION

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
