About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Social Media Intern to join our team at BIG NIL Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that specializes in officially licensed print-on-demand apparel and merchandise products for student-athletes and school brands under the NIL.

The ideal candidate will have great communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to problem solve, and impeccable attention to detail. Previous experience in Social Media lead roles is highly recommended, as well as a strong understanding of college/high school sports, fan apparel, and the clients (student-athletes) we serve within your school athletic program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote student-athlete brands on various social media websites and platforms.
  • Develop and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
  • Support the marketing team at live and online events.
  • Perform social media marketing research to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Assist with influencer campaign strategy and execution.
  • Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms.
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Create compelling graphics to share across social channels.
  • Write social media captions that speak to our brand's values and mission.
  • Help create and edit short-form videos that showcase our products and services.
  • Develop new strategies for increasing engagement and driving sales.
  • Assist with photo/video content shoots to capture high-quality visuals.
  • Ensure brand message consistency across all social media platforms.
Requirements

This is a full-time/part-time/contract position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media marketing principles and a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends.
