About the Role

Aizer Health is seeking a skilled Dental Care Specialist to join our team on Sundays. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our community-driven healthcare center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, including height, weight, blood pressure, medical problems, allergies, reactions, and prescribed medications.
  • Diagnose intraoral and extra-oral conditions, including existing caries, endodontic pathology, periodontal condition, prosthetic needs, and soft tissue abnormalities.
  • Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
  • Provide routine dental treatments, including amalgam restorations, aesthetic composite restorations, routine root canal therapy, routine extractions, prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planning, and pedodontic care.
  • Supervise dental assistants to ensure efficient and effective team performance.
  • Offer professional consultation to other staff dentists as needed.
  • Participate in dental provider meetings and contribute to collaborative learning and patient care improvement.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited dental school.
  • A current New York State license.
  • Comfortable dealing with pediatric and adult patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records software Dentrix or eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience with Dexis digital radiographs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $100-120 per hour, commensurate with experience.
