The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians, collaborate with various departments, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight:
  • Design and execute preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Manage corrective maintenance tasks to swiftly address equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance assignments to minimize production interruptions.
  • Team Management:
    • Oversee and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, offering guidance, training, and performance assessments.
    • Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and ongoing improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and food safety standards.
    • Conduct regular safety evaluations and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Budget Oversight:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance management within a food manufacturing or similar sector.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance practices, machinery, and equipment used in food production.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in maintenance management software.
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in maintenance management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Working Environment:

  • This role involves working in a manufacturing setting, which may expose the individual to loud noises, hazardous materials, and varying temperatures.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to address urgent maintenance issues.
  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the facility and operate company equipment.
