Job Title: Security Bike Officer

At Golden Entertainment, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Bike Officer to join our team. As a Security Bike Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and company property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.
  • Provide outstanding guest service to guests with questions and/or concerns.
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide protection for the casino and its employees and guests.
  • Guard all transfers of moneys and tokens, chips and credits on the casino floor.
  • Perform the duties of a security officer.
  • Complete all incident reports pertaining to outside patrol issues.
  • Control the flow of traffic at the entrance of the garage and inside the garage.
  • Escort armored car personnel around the property.
  • Function as fire control center officer and time officer to relieve other officers for their breaks.
  • Escort trespassing individuals off property.
  • Assist guests in locating lost vehicles.
  • Maintain bicycle in operating condition.
  • Investigate auto accidents.
  • Secure the operations office during in-custody situations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of law enforcement, military or EMT experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a CCW within 6 months of employment.
  • Proven experience using sound judgment and making appropriate decisions during challenging situations and/or interacting with challenging patrons.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and applications preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and via portable radios.
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency with authorized handgun and qualify on the range every six months.
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
  • Ability to complete mandatory training courses and certifications as required by the position.
  • At least 21 Years of Age.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
Work Cards:
  • Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Nevada Issued CCW Permit.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally push/pull up to 75lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
  • Occasionally Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist regularly.
  • Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer.
  • Regularly standing and walking.
  • Ability to ride a bicycle for an extended period of time (an eight hour shift).
  • Ability to jog or run as situations dictate.
  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and stairs.
  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person.
  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Ability to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
