Job Description

At Isaacs & Isaacs PSC, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in handling personal injury claims from inception to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter new files into our case management system and gather relevant information.
  • Analyze intake data and documents, including MVA details, insurance, property damage, and medical providers.
  • Investigate each case thoroughly and document findings in GrowPath/FileVine.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and verify insurance coverage.
  • Manage medical care, including requesting and obtaining medical documentation.
  • Explain claim procedures to clients and prepare correspondence, such as demand letters and billing inquiries.
  • Process correspondence with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and lien holders.
  • Relay settlement negotiations and collect documentation of damages, including medical records, bills, and subrogation liens.
  • Organize and maintain case files, using case reminders to work each file regularly.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, Microsoft Office, and paralegal work.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work under pressure.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with relevant laws and insurance policies.
  • Exceptional communication and written skills, with knowledge of medical terms and traumatically induced conditions.
