We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Brewery Operations Assistant to join our team at Goodwood Brewing Co. As a Brewery Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our brewery, including cellar duties, packaging, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Brewer in daily cellar duties, including adherence to safety and cleaning procedures, keg washing, keg filling, barrel racking, and CIP of all brewery vessels.
  • Perform bi-monthly draft line cleaning and packaging product/canning line operations.
  • Operate centrifuge filtration and monitor fermentations.
  • Maintain standard brewery cleanliness and organization.

Requirements:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs
  • High school diploma
  • Experience in a brewery, distillery, or food production role

Desirable Traits:

  • Experience using forklifts/pallet jacks
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work extended hours on your feet in hot, cold, wet, and loud environments
  • Good attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious
  • A basic knowledge of brewing process
  • Homebrewing experience

What We Offer:

  • Hourly base pay based on experience
  • After 90 days: Health benefits and Federal paid holidays
  • Monday - Friday 8am-4pm schedule, and occasional weekend help with brewery events and/or festivals
