As a Surgical Technician with University of Louisville Physicians, you will play a vital role in the operating room team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures
- Inventory and arrange sterile equipment and supplies
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team as needed
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
