Job Summary

At AHU Technologies Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative with expertise in income and property tax to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to taxpayers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of business and real property tax accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance and information to taxpayers on all business, income, and real property taxes and related fees.
  • Tax Account Management: Research, establish, and update all business tax accounts via an online system, review and adjust business registration, real property, and income tax accounts which require correction and/or refunds.
  • Communication: Answer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence, receive and control business and income undeliverable refund checks, and respond to general correspondence pertaining to business, income, real property, and other related taxes and fees.
  • Database Management: Input and update existing database accurately, track and maintain data necessary for production reports.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences, ability to research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and policies, and ability to perform basic business applications Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Experience: Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred), Knowledge of income and property tax: 2 years (Preferred), Data Entry: 2 years (Preferred), and Banking: 2 years (Preferred).
